The Old Red Shed, where I believe that every piece, whether large or small has a story! It all started during a General Manager Conference at my corporate job when a Key Note Speaker asked, “If money wasn’t a factor, would you be in the job you’re in or would you do something else?” I had an ah-ha moment and I knew my journey was about to begin! My husband and I decided we’d do whatever it took and with a lot of prayers and the grace of God with His provision and direction, we jumped! 

In my garage in Texas, I started making custom large rulers to track your child’s year-to-year growth and they sold like crazy and I never looked back. I built and painted and just fell in love with creating for clients. From painting that grandmother’s buffet that they couldn’t part with yet, didn’t match any of their decor or style to be a piece that they loved and cherished. To custom building that perfect dining table that would fit the whole family for nightly dinners and special holidays. It’s been a journey that I’ve loved! Building relationships with people who entrust you with creating for them while having the ability to grasp the American Dream! I never thought working 100+ hours a week for myself just to avoid working 40 hours for someone else would be my life, yet, I’d choose it all day and twice on Sunday!!!
